63° International Grotrian Piano Competition in Italia
Pianofriends ha l'onore e il piacere di organizzare a Milano nei giorni 4/5 giugno 2018, presso l'Auditorium Griffa (via San Rocco 5), la semifinale del 63° International Grotrian Piano Competition. I pianisti selezionati parteciperanno alla Finale che si terrà il 21-23 settembre presso Hannover University of Music. La giuria sarà composta da: Hubert Stuppner Presidente, Vsevolod Dvorkin e Philippe Raskin. La selezione, aperta ai pianisti di tutte le nazionalità, sarà suddivisa in due gruppi M1 e M2 a seconda della fascia d'età a cui sarà richiesto il seguente repertorio: Gruppo M1 (per i nati dal 2/4/1995 al 1 aprile 2001) 4 pezzi della durata complessiva dai 30 ai 40 minuti che comprenda: A) una sonata di Haydn, Mozart o Beethoven (escluse le op 49.1,49.2,54,78 e 79) B) una importante opera romantica, o di una scuola nazionale o impressionistica della durata non inferiore a 8' (vedi elenco programma in inglese) C) uno studio da concerto scelto tra: Chopin: Studi op.10 e op. 25( esclusi op. 10 n. 3 e n. 6 nonche' op.25 n.7 Liszt : uno degli studi di esecuzione trascendentale (esclusi il n.1 e il n.3 ) o uno dei 6 studi da Paganini D) un’opera a libera scelta
Gruppo M2 (per i nati dal 2/4/2001 al 1/4/2005) 3 pezzi della durata complessiva dai 20 ai 30 minuti A) due tempi (uno brillante e uno lento ) di una sonata di Haydn,Mozart o Beethoven B) uno studio da concerto scelto tra : Chopin op 10 e op 25 ( esclusi op 10 n 3 e n 6 e op 25 n 7 ) o Liszt uno degli studi trascendentali( esclusi n 1 e n 3) o uno degli studi da Paganini C) un'opera a libera scelta

Pianofriends has the great pleasure to announce that we are organizing the Semifinal of the 63rd edition of the Grotrian Piano competition in Milan from the 4th to the 5th of June 2018 that will take place in the Griffa Auditorium (via San Rocco 5). The selected pianists will participate in the Final round of the competition that will be held in the 21st to the 23rd of September in the Hannover University of Music. The judges panel will be composed of: President Hubert Stuppner, Vsevolod Dvorkin and Philippe Raskin. The pre-selection, open to pianists of all nationalities, will be divided into two groups M1 and M2 that will depend on the age group that the participant appertains to. Here's is the list of the repertoire that will be requested: Group M1 (participants born from 2/4/1995 to the 1/4/2001) 4 pieces that last from 30 to 40 minutes altogether that consist of: A) a sonata by Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven (op 49.1,49 no. 2,54,78 and 79 EXCLUDED) B) an important romantic work, or of a national school or impressionist piece not shorter than 8' C) one concert etude chosen from: Chopin: Etudes op. 10 and op. 25 ( op. 10 n. 3 and n. 6, op. 25 n. 7 EXCLUDED) Liszt : One Transcendental Etude (n.1 and n.3 EXCLUDED) or one of the 6 Paganini Etudes D) a piece of your choosing
Group M2 (participants born from 2/4/2001 to 1/4/2005) 3 pieces that last 20 to 30 minutes altogether A) two movements (one Allegro and one Slower) of a sonata by Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven B) one concert etude chosen from: Chopin op. 10 and op. 25 (op. 10 n. 3 and n. 6r op. 25 n. 7 EXCLUDED) OR Liszt: One Transcendental Etude (n. 1 and n. 3 EXCLUDED) or one of the Paganini Etudes C) a piece of your choosing
